About La Manzanilla
La Manzanilla is an extremely safe place to live for everyone. There is real estate for sale, lots for sale, open land for sale, affordable vacation rentals, hotels, and camping.

Camping is available on the beach next to the lagoon, which is a federally protected ecological zone. Take a guided tour into the lagoon and see the animals including, caimans (alligators), heron, ibises, egrets and kingfishers, a truly exciting nature experience.

La Manzanilla is located on the Bay of Tenacatita which offers some of the best fishing in Mexico including huachinango, tuna, dorado, jack, and sailfish. It also provides safe harbor for many sailboats and power yachts.

The beaches of La Manzanilla are exceptionally beautiful. Tenacatita Bay protects the local beaches from the open ocean. The waves and the slope of the beach are gentle with several places offering total privacy.

Other area activities include horseback riding, snorkeling, hiking, mountain biking, and some of Mexico's best golf courses as close as Tamarindo (which is only about 10 minutes away from La Manzanilla) and Isla Navidad. As experts in educational adventure travel, local tour guides help visitors discover the natural and cultural wonders of La Manzanilla and the Central Pacific Coast of Mexico.
